Private "Side by Side" Comparisons

from $60.00

Skill Level: All   - Ages: 15yrs + up - Live Virtual Chat

The intention of this lesson is to show you “real time” benefits of private drawing instruction. Many aspiring artists give up too early in their process while they are still in an undeveloped stage and becoming discouraged trying to see projects through. By implementing basic fundamentals, adjustments and tricks, you can achieve your goals much easier. During this lesson, you would re-draw directly next to an existing drawing of yours which you are struggling with, while getting tailored directions as I observe the way you work. We will finish with a “side by side” comparison. It would be especially helpful for aspiring college students, those joining the work force or anyone who is looking to push themselves further in their artistic exploration.  We may discuss a variety of topics including: line weight, pressure, shape evaluation, value, balance, light/shadow, perspective, anatomy, references, etc.

Once you purchase, you will be emailed to set up our meeting and to send photos of 1-4 (depending on length of time you choose) pieces of your artwork for me to review and refer to in session. There are two ways to participate: video chat through instagram or chatting through zoom.us, which requires you to sign up for a free account.

Suggested Supplies:

Finished works of art, you original references and the same supplies for redrawing them, notebook and pen.
